Neno civil society organisations have been challenged to be agents of change and champion dialogue with the government in a bid to foster national unity and development.
Partners in Health representative Lothiar Ngulube, whose organisation is an outgoing Neno CSO’s chairperson, said CSOs should not resort to demonstrations but engage with the government in areas that need improvement.
Neno CSO’s new chairperson, Beyond Our Heart Foundation executive director Russell Msiska says CSOs are there to complement government developmental plans, hence the need to work together.
The CSO held their elective annual general meeting today after failing to hold it for two years due to financial constraints, among others.
